SET EV1 CONTRASTE – (Allen Adjustment)

General description

The EV1 Contraste Set represents the synthesis of two key concepts within the development of Trabocchi hubs: the handcrafted aesthetics of the Contraste model and the optimized geometry of the EV1. The result is a track hub set that combines classic character, mechanical precision, and balanced dynamic performance, designed for urban use and track / fixed competition — a discipline where this model has proven its reliability throughout full racing calendars. The brand and development of these hubs originate directly from the competitive environment, where they have been validated under real conditions of maximum demand.

The hub shells are machined from 71 mm profile 6061 aluminum round bars (non-forged hubs), through four independent machining processes that ensure dimensional precision, structural strength, and durability. The finish is achieved through double bright polishing and black anodizing (not paint), generating a deep and uniform surface prepared for demanding use.

The flange features an exclusive design with additional machining and manual milling on each piece, inspired by classic lines from the 60s and 70s. This process provides visual identity, reduces rotational mass, and maintains the rigidity required for precise and reliable wheel building.

Axle adjustment system – Allen adjustment

Adjustment type: Allen

Axles: drilled on both ends

Drilling depth: 30 mm

Adjustment bolt:

Diameter: 6 mm

Thread pitch: 1

Length: 25 mm

Tool: 5 mm Allen key

Bearings

The bearing system uses low-friction sealed 6000ZZ bearings in both the front and rear hubs. These bearings ensure smooth and stable rotation, with low internal resistance and consistent mechanical performance in both urban and competitive use.
