Technical description

The Madison Black Contrast Set is intended for track, fixed gear, and urban bicycles. The hubs are manufactured from solid round bars of 6061 aluminum, not forged, through multiple CNC machining processes.

A distinctive feature of this model is the additional machining and bright polishing process on both sides of the flanges, creating a visual contrast between the black anodized hub body and the polished surfaces, while maintaining precise tolerances at the spoke interface areas.

The set uses 6000ZZ low-friction shielded bearings on both the front and rear hubs. This bearing type features double metal shields, which reduce the ingress of dust and contaminants, retain internal lubrication, and provide stable and consistent rotation, with low maintenance requirements for track and urban use.
