MADISON CUSTOM Hubs SL

General Description

The MADISON CUSTOM hubs are designed for track and fixed gear bicycles, developed through a random customization process. Each unit is the result of an artistic and non-repetitive personalization, where the final design is defined by the manual and aesthetic work applied during machining and finishing.

These components are machined from solid 71 mm round bars of 6061 aluminum, with no forging processes involved, ensuring dimensional precision and structural consistency while preserving visual variation inherent to the custom concept. 

Axle Fixing System

Fixing system: hex nut

Nut size: 15 mm

Nut material: SAE 1045 steel

Surface treatment: chrome plated

Additional component: floating washer

System compatible with track and fixed gear frames with horizontal dropouts.

Bearings

The bearing system uses low-friction 6000ZZ shielded bearings on both the front and rear hubs. These bearings ensure smooth and stable rotation, with low internal resistance, maintaining consistent mechanical behavior in urban use and competitive conditions.
